Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 slices slices of bread Use brioche, whole grain, or gluten-free if desired.
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk Any milk variety can be used.
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp butter Can adjust amount to preference.
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup Optional for serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Place the coated slices in the air fryer basket.
  2. Add a small piece of butter on top of each slice.
  3. Air fry for 2 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  4. Once done, remove the toast and drizzle with maple syrup if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding nutmeg or cocoa powder to the mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
