Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the tough ends of the asparagus, removing 1-2 inches from the bottom.
- Place the asparagus in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
Cooking
- Spread the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the asparagus and return to the oven for another 3-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
Notes
For extra flavor, add lemon zest on top before serving. Customize by adding herbs like thyme or basil. Serve with toasted pine nuts for extra crunch.
