  • 8 pieces egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Use full-fat for best flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked brisket, chopped Can substitute with chicken.
  • 1/2 cup jalapeños, diced Use fresh or pickled based on preference.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Other Ingredients
  • Oil for frying Oil for frying Can use vegetable or canola oil.
  • Honey to taste Honey for drizzling Add to preference before serving.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, brisket, jalapeños, and green onions.
  2. Lay out an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface. Place 2-3 tablespoons of the filling in the center.
  3. Fold the bottom of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly. Seal with a little water.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  2. Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  4. Drizzle with honey before serving.

Notes

Add spices like paprika or garlic powder to the filling for extra flavor. Serve with fresh veggies or a salad on the side for a balanced meal.
