Ingredients
  

Cookie Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Ensure butter is at room temperature.
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix-ins
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate frosting For drizzling on top.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Mixing
  1. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  2. Fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  3. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  4. Once cooled, drizzle or spread white chocolate frosting on top if desired.

Notes

Enhance flavor by adding a sprinkle of cinnamon for a warm spice. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
