Puff Pastry
  • 1 sheet puff pastry Thaw according to package instructions.
Cream Cheese Filling
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened) Ensure it’s room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar Mix into cream cheese for sweetness.
Strawberry Jam
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam Choose high-quality jam for the best taste.
For Assembly
  • 1 large egg Beaten, for egg wash.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry into a rectangle.
  3. Cut the rolled pastry into 4-inch squares.
  4. In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese with powdered sugar.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Place a spoonful of cream cheese mixture in the center of each square, then top with strawberry jam.
  2. Fold the corners towards the center to create a pinwheel shape.
  3. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm for the best taste and dust with powdered sugar before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freeze before baking for up to a month.
