Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Place a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square, followed by a spoonful of chopped strawberries.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pocket, sealing the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
