Ingredients

Dough Ingredients
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
Strawberry Cheesecake Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
Cinnamon Sugar Mixture
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Cream Cheese Glaze
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix in warm milk, melted butter, and egg until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it's smooth. Cover and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
Prepare Filling
  1. In another bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Stir in the finely chopped strawberries and strawberry jam.
Prepare Cinnamon Sugar
  1. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon together. Set aside.
Assemble Rolls
  1. Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a large rectangle. Spread the strawberry cheesecake filling evenly across the surface.
  2. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top. Roll the dough up tightly and slice it into equal pieces.
Bake Rolls
  1. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Glaze and Serve
  1. In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth and creamy.
  2. Once the rolls are out of the oven, generously drizzle the cream cheese glaze on top while they’re still warm. Serve immediately!

Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider adding lemon zest to the cream cheese filling or customize the filling by adding chocolate chips or nuts.
