Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional) For garnish

Method

Cooking
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Sprinkle in the paprika, salt, and black pepper, stirring well to coat the beef and vegetables.
  6. Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  7. Add the rotini pasta, cover the skillet, and let it simmer on medium-low heat for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Once the pasta is tender, pour in the heavy cream and add the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy.
  9. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes or mixing in vegetables like spinach or bell peppers. Serve with garlic bread or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
