  • 1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak Choose your preferred cut for flavor.
  • 1 lb Yukon Gold or red potatoes Ensure they are washed and chopped into bite-sized pieces.
Seasonings and Sauces
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil For roasting the potatoes.
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste Salt Adjust according to preference.
  • to taste Pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • ¼ cup soy sauce For flavoring the steak.
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme Can be substituted with fresh herbs.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and chop the potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Toss them in olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 30-35 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  2. While the potatoes bake, season the steak with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the steak. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side to your preferred doneness.
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, then drizzle it over the cooked steak.
  5. Slice the steak into strips and divide it into meal prep bowls with potatoes.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before sealing and refrigerating.

Notes

Enhance flavors with fresh herbs like parsley or rosemary. Customize the dish by adding veggies like bell peppers or broccoli. Serve warm, or reheat in the microwave for a quick meal.
