  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 each egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon green food coloring
For Dusting

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and green food coloring until well blended.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
Baking
  1. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  2. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  3. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  4. Dust with powdered sugar before serving and enjoy the smiles!
