Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add milk and chicken broth. Stir in the rice, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and let it simmer for about 25 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the chicken is tender.
  4. Fluff the rice with a fork, serve the chicken on top, and drizzle the creamy sauce over everything.
