- In the slow cooker, combine chicken breasts, chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours or until chicken is cooked through and tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, prepare the rice.
- In a pot, combine rice and water or additional broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover to simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked.
