Preparation
- Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ketchup, and rice vinegar. Whisk together until smooth.
- Pour the mixed sauce over the chicken thighs, completely coating them.
Cooking
- Set your slow cooker to low and cook for 6 hours, or high for 3 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl and stir into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
Serving
- Once thickened, sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top before serving.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce overnight before cooking. Customize the mix by adding your favorite vegetables at the beginning.
