Seafood Stuffed Shells

Ingredients
  

Seafood Filling
  • 1 cup lobster meat, chopped
  • 1 cup crab meat, chopped
  • 1 cup shrimp, cooked and chopped
Cheese Mixture
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Pasta and Sauce
  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Marinara sauce, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine lobster, crab, shrimp, ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, heavy cream, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix the ingredients until well combined.
  5. Carefully stuff each pasta shell with the seafood mixture.
Baking
  1. Spread some marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  2. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and top with remaining marinara sauce.
  3. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Flavor enhancement can be achieved by adding herbs like dill or basil. Swap seafood for vegetables for a vegetarian version. Offer a sprinkle of cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
