Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted
Cheesecake Filling
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
Topping
  • 2 cups spiced apples, diced
  • 1 cups rolled oats
  • 0.5 cups brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 0.5 cups caramel sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the baking dish to form a crust.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  5. Top with diced spiced apples.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Sprinkle over the apples.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 40-45 minutes until set.
  2. Allow to cool before slicing into bars and serve.

Notes

Serve on a decorative platter and pair with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. For enhanced flavor, try adding nuts or different flavored extracts.
