  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash, peel, and chop the sweet potatoes into evenly sized cubes or wedges.
  3. In a large bowl, add sweet potato pieces, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss everything thoroughly until the sweet potatoes are well coated.
Cooking
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer.
  2. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through for even browning.
  3. If desired, melt butter mixed with minced garlic and herbs, then drizzle it over the potatoes before serving.
  4. Remove them from the oven, let cool slightly, and transfer to a dish. Serve warm.

Notes

Experiment with different spices like cumin or cinnamon for unique flavors. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
