  • 1 cup pretzel crumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 pieces eggs Beaten
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Set up a breading station: place flour in one dish, beaten eggs in another, and pretzel crumbs in a third.
Cooking
  1. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with pretzel crumbs.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Place the fried chicken in a baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the Dijon mustard, milk, and shredded cheddar cheese. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through. Serve hot.

Notes

Add fresh herbs such as parsley or chives to the sauce for extra flavor. Customize with different types of cheese, like pepper jack, for a spicy kick. Serve with a side of your favorite dipping sauces for variety. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and freeze for up to 3 months.
