Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 lbs Pork Use fresh pork for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Red chile sauce Adjust amount for desired spiciness.
  • 2 cups Hominy Canned or dried, as preferred.
Toppings
  • 2 cups Chopped cabbage Freshly chopped for garnish.
  • 1 cup Sliced radishes For crunch and color.
  • 2 each Lime Cut into wedges for serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, combine the pork with water and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer until the pork is tender (about 1 hour).
Cooking
  1. In a separate pan, prepare the red chile sauce and mix it into the pot with the pork.
  2. Add hominy and continue to simmer for another 30 minutes.
  3. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cabbage, radishes, and lime.

Notes

For a heartier dish, add beans or serve with a side of rice. Customize toppings with avocado or jalapeƱos for a spicy kick.
