Preparation
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Brown the beef strips on all sides.
- In the crock pot, combine the browned beef, sliced bell peppers, sliced onion, beef broth, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- If you want a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a bit of water and stir it into the pot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
