Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
Cooking
  1. Pour tablespoon-sized amounts of batter into the skillet, leaving space between each.
  2. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until bubbles form, then flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  3. Repeat until all batter is cooked, then serve warm!

Notes

Add chocolate chips or blueberries for extra flavor. Customize with different spices like cinnamon for a unique twist. Serve with honey or powdered sugar for added sweetness.
