Ingredients
  

Cabbage Base
  • 1 small head small head of cabbage, cut into thick slices
Meat Mixture
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef or ground turkey You can choose between beef and turkey based on preference.
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite) Feel free to mix different types of cheese.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Drizzle over cabbage and burgers for added flavor.
  • 1 egg optional, for binding Use if you want a firmer patty.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the cabbage by cutting it into thick slices and laying them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and shredded cheese. Mix well.
  4. If using, add the egg to the meat mixture for binding and mix thoroughly.
  5. Shape the meat mixture into patties and place them on top of the cabbage slices on the baking sheet.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the cabbage and burgers to enhance flavor.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and the cabbage is tender.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, use spices like cumin or chili flakes. Customize by adding different cheeses or veggies. Serve with marinara or ranch dressing.
