Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the cut chicken pieces and sauté them for about 5-7 minutes until they’re golden and cooked through.
Cooking
  1. Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the chicken. Stir for 1-2 minutes to toast the spices.
  2. Stir in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Once simmering, add in the orzo pasta. Stir it in well and cook for about 10-12 minutes until the orzo is tender.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Mix consistently for 2-3 minutes until it becomes creamy and beautifully thickened.
  5. Taste the dish and add salt and pepper as needed. Finish by garnishing with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, consider a squeeze of lemon juice. You can customize the recipe by adding your favorite vegetables during cooking.
