Ingredients
  

Marinade
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 3 tbsp olive oil For marinating steak
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste For seasoning the marinade
Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked grains (brown rice or quinoa)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce Can be store-bought or homemade

Method
 

Marinade and Cook Steak
  1. Marinate the sirloin steak in a mixture of olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Let it rest.
Prep Grains and Vegetables
  1. While the steak is cooking, prepare the grains according to package instructions.
  2. Chop the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
Assemble Bowls
  1. Slice the rested steak into strips.
  2. Assemble the bowls by placing grains at the bottom, topping with veggies, steak, and a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce.
  3. Add Kalamata olives for garnish, and enjoy!

Notes

For enhanced flavor, try adding herbs like oregano or parsley to the marinade. Customize your bowl with your favorite vegetables such as bell peppers or spinach. Serve with lemon wedges for an extra zing of freshness.
