  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Method
 

Preparation and Searing
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the pork chops with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove and crumble it.
  4. In the same skillet, sear the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the chops to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the skillet, melt the butter, then whisk in the flour to create a roux.
  2. Gradually add milk and heavy cream, stirring until the sauce thickens.
