Preparation
- Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, eggs, milk, minced garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1½-inch meatballs and place them on a plate.
Cooking
- Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Gently place the meatballs into the marinara sauce ensuring they are covered.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for about 3 hours or high for 2 hours.
- Check that meatballs have reached an internal temperature of 165°F before serving.
- Let the meatballs rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a splash of red wine to the sauce. Customize by offering grated cheese and fresh herbs at the table.
