Preparation
- Place the corned beef brisket in the Instant Pot.
- Add the water and spice packet to the pot.
- Close the lid and seal the valve. Set to cook on high pressure for 90 minutes.
- Once done, allow the pressure to release naturally for 15 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
Cooking
- Add the onions, potatoes, carrots, and cabbage to the pot.
- Seal the lid again and cook on high pressure for an additional 10 minutes.
- After cooking, carefully release the pressure and remove the vegetables and beef.
- Slice the corned beef against the grain and serve warm with vegetables.
Notes
Enhance flavor by adding garlic or bay leaves during cooking. Customize with additional vegetables like parsnips or turnips. Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal experience.
