Preparation
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on the outside of each Hawaiian roll.
- Open the Hawaiian rolls and add shredded Monterey Jack cheese. Optionally, layer with sliced tomatoes or bacon.
Cooking
- Place the assembled rolls in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown.
- Gently flip the rolls and cook the other side for another 4-5 minutes, until cheese melts.
- Remove from heat, let cool for a moment, then slice and enjoy!
Notes
Pair with fresh fruit or a light salad for a balanced meal. You can also experiment with different cheeses or serve with dipping sauces like tomato soup.
