  • 1 lb ground beef Brown in a skillet until fully cooked and no longer pink.
  • 4 large flour tortillas Warm slightly in the microwave to make pliable.
  • 1 cup enchilada sauce Pour into the pan with the beef after seasoning.
Seasoning
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Mix with ½ cup of water after browning the beef.
Beans
  • 1 cup refried beans Warm before adding to burritos.
Optional Toppings
  • 1 bunch cilantro Chopped, for garnish.
  • 1 lime lime wedges For serving.
  • 1 cup salsa Serve on the side.
  • 1 cup sour cream Optional, add to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in taco seasoning and ½ cup of water; cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Warm tortillas in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
Assembly
  1. Spread ¼ cup of refried beans onto each tortilla.
  2. Layer with seasoned beef and ¼ cup of enchilada sauce.
  3. Roll tightly and fold in the sides.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil or butter in the skillet over medium heat.
  2. Toast burritos seam-side down for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.
Serving
  1. Remove burritos from skillet, cool slightly, and slice in half.
  2. Serve with toppings like salsa and sour cream.

Notes

Consider adding diced jalapeños or other veggies for customization. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
