  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped optional, for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they soften, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Toss in the trimmed green beans and mix well.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper, continuing to cook for another 5-7 minutes until beans are tender yet crisp.
  6. Stir in the remaining butter and lemon juice, mixing until fully incorporated.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For added heat, sprinkle red pepper flakes. Customize with other vegetables or serve with a creamy dip for richness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
