Ingredients
  

For the garlic butter mixture
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened Use real butter for best flavor.
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley Fresh herbs can also be used.
For the sandwiches
  • 4 slices bread Any type of bread can be used.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend Feel free to customize the cheese type.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread, covering all the way to the edges.
  3. Place two slices butter-side down and add half the cheese on each. Top with the other bread slices, butter-side up.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over low heat. Cook sandwiches for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  2. Remove from pan, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

Slice the sandwiches diagonally for a classic look and pair with tomato soup or a fresh salad. Each sandwich serves one, so adjust the recipe for your crowd. Enjoy with a glass of iced tea or your favorite soda.
