  • 2 cups bread cubes (preferably stale) Stale bread works best for texture.
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar Or adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • As needed Butter (for greasing the muffin tin)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin with butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  3. Add the bread cubes to the mixture and gently fold until all pieces are coated.
Baking
  1. Scoop the mixture into the greased muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  3. Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin.

Notes

Serve warm with powdered sugar, maple syrup, or fresh fruit. Customizable with add-ins like berries or chocolate chips.
