Ingredients
  

Chicken Wings
  • 1.3 kg 1.3 kg (3 lb) chicken wings, split at joints, tips removed Use whole chicken wings for best results.
Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp 1 tbsp baking powder (aluminum-free) Helps achieve crispiness.
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp ½ tsp black pepper
Sauce
  • 0.25 cup ¼ cup hot sauce Adjust to taste for spice level.
  • 2 tbsp 2 tbsp melted butter Adds richness to the sauce.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a large bowl, combine baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are thoroughly coated in the spice mixture.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding for even cooking.
  2. Cook the wings for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are crispy and golden brown.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the hot sauce and melted butter. Toss the wings in this sauce right after cooking.
Serving
  1. Serve the wings hot, garnished with your favorite herbs or dips.
  2. Arrange wings on a large platter, garnished with fresh parsley or green onions.
  3. Pair with celery sticks and a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Notes

Add extra flavor with a sprinkle of your favorite dry rub before air frying. Customize spice levels with different hot sauces or add chili powder.
