  • 8 oz egg noodles Alternative: Can use zucchini noodles for a low-carb option
  • 4 tablespoons butter Divided for cooking
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor
  • 1 cup chicken broth Chicken stock or broth for cooking noodles

Method
 

Cooking Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and place them in the skillet.
  3. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until the chicken is golden and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Cooking Noodles
  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic.
  2. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until tender, about 7-10 minutes.
Combining Flavors
  1. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet, mixing everything together.
  2. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to combine flavors.
  3. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice. Customize with favorite veggies or herbs. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese for more flavor.
