  • 1 cup sugar Can use regular or a substitute for a healthier option.
  • 1 large egg Room temperature egg works best.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg.
  3. Mix until the dough is smooth and well blended.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls.
  5. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Gently flatten each ball with a fork, creating a crisscross pattern.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden.
  2. Remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store baked cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Cookies can be frozen for up to three months with layers separated by parchment paper.
