Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg.
- Mix until the dough is smooth and well blended.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls.
- Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Gently flatten each ball with a fork, creating a crisscross pattern.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden.
- Remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store baked cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Cookies can be frozen for up to three months with layers separated by parchment paper.
