Baking
- Divide the batter between the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cakes to cool completely.
Assembly
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Assemble the layers by placing one cake on a serving plate, spreading a layer of whipped cream, then adding crunchy streusel.
- Top with the second cake, drizzle with caramel sauce, and decorate as desired.
Notes
