For the Meat Sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef Use quality beef for best flavor.
  • 1 can pasta sauce (24 oz) Choose your favorite brand.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances the flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning Adds an Italian flavor profile.
For the Layers
  • 1 package frozen cheese ravioli (25 oz) No need to thaw before using.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Can substitute with other cheeses.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Add extra if desired.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in pasta sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Layering
  1. In a greased slow cooker, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce.
  2. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
  3. Top with half of the remaining meat sauce and half of each cheese.
  4. Repeat layers, finishing with cheese on top.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Enhance flavor with fresh herbs like basil or oregano. Customize by adding spinach or mushrooms between layers. Serve with Italian seasoning on the side for an extra kick.
