Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot.
- Pour the crushed tomatoes and chicken broth over the chicken.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
- Remove the chicken, shred it with two forks, and return it to the pot.
- Stir in the heavy cream and uncooked rotini pasta.
- Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes, until the pasta is tender.
- Just before serving, mix in the shredded Parmesan cheese.
Notes
Enhance flavor with red pepper flakes. Customize with vegetables like spinach or zucchini. Serve with homemade croutons for crunch.
