  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast Cut into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
Liquids/Dairy
  • 4 cups chicken broth Provides a tasty base.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Add near the end of cooking for creamy texture.
Pasta
  • 2 cups pasta (fettuccine or penne) Cook directly in the crockpot for added flavor.
Aromatics & Vegetables
  • 4 cloves minced garlic Enhances flavor profile; sauté for aroma.
  • 1 cup frozen peas (optional) Add for color and texture.
Garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and place them in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Pour 4 cups of chicken broth over the chicken and sprinkle the minced garlic on top.
  3. Add 2 cups of your pasta of choice directly into the pot.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and add the frozen peas, if using.
  5. Close the lid and set your crockpot to low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  6. Once done, check that the chicken is cooked through and the pasta is tender.
  7. Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider grated Parmesan cheese. Customize by adding other vegetables like carrots or mushrooms. This soup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and frozen for up to 3 months.
