  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • for garnish Fresh parsley optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender.
  2. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, prepare the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
  3. Once the chicken is done, shred it in the crock pot and stir to combine with the sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve the creamy chicken mixture over the cooked pasta and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Add extra herbs like basil or oregano to enhance the flavor. Customize by swapping chicken for turkey or a vegetarian protein. Serve with a side of vegetables to balance the creaminess.
