Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 large Potatoes, preferably Yukon Golds or Russets Wash and slice into thin rounds (1/4-inch thick). Fresh potatoes are best for flavor and texture.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil Drizzle over the sliced potatoes before roasting. Avocado oil can be used as an alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic granules Mix with the oil. Fresh minced garlic can be used, but reduce the amount.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried mixed herbs Toss it with the potatoes for added flavor. Italian seasoning can be an alternative.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Sprinkle over potatoes before baking. Sea salt or garlic salt can be alternatives.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for even cooking.
  2. Wash, peel if desired, and slice the potatoes into 1/4-inch thick slices.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced potatoes with olive oil, garlic granules, dried herbs, and salt. Toss well to coat.
  4. Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  2. Check towards the end to ensure they are golden brown and crispy, not burnt.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve immediately for the best texture.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle parmesan cheese before baking or customize with spices like paprika. Serve hot for maximum crispiness.
