Liquids/Dairy
  • 1 cup Whole Milk Soak wings in milk for tenderizing.
Seasoning/Spice Blend
  • 1 tablespoon Salt Season wings generously.
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder Increase for spicier flavor.
Aromatics & Vegetables
  • 2 large Eggs Beat eggs for coating.
Starch
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour Essential for crunchy coating.
  • 1 cup Cornstarch Enhances crispiness.
Optional Finishing Ingredients
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil Ideal for frying.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by soaking the chicken wings in milk for about 30 minutes.
  2. Mix flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and chili powder in a bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until frothy.
Coating and Frying
  1. Remove the wings from the milk and dip them into the egg mixture, then into the flour blend.
  2. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F.
  3. Fry the wings in batches for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Once cooked, place the wings on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.

Notes

Serve with dipping sauces like ranch or hot sauce. The wings can also be customized with different spices.
