Ingredients
  

Pancake Mixture
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage Fresh cabbage is preferred.
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour.
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions For garnish and flavor.
  • as needed tablespoons Oil for frying Use vegetable or canola oil.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, flour, water, egg, salt, pepper, and green onions.
  2. Mix everything together until well combined.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Scoop a spoonful of the mixture into the skillet and flatten it slightly with a spatula.
  3. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  5. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

Notes

Serve hot, garnished with extra green onions or a dollop of sour cream. Pair with dipping sauces like ketchup or soy sauce for added flavor. Cut into smaller pieces for easier sharing as finger food.
