  • 2 pieces apples, peeled and sliced Use your favorite sweet apple variety.
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup butter Unsalted butter is recommended.
  • 1 cup sugar Granulated sugar.
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Can adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wrap each apple slice in a crescent roll.
  3. Place the wrapped apples in a baking dish.
Sauce Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, melt butter and mix in sugar, water, and cinnamon until combined.
  2. Pour the syrup over the apple dumplings in the baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for added richness. Drizzle extra syrup on top for presentation.
