- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes.

Cooking
- Pour in the can of crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce, along with Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally for another 3-5 minutes.
- While the sauce simmers, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, reserving some pasta water before draining.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sauce, tossing to combine and adjusting with reserved pasta water as necessary.
- Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese and toss until melted and well combined.
Notes
