Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for about 3 minutes. They should be bright green and slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, blanched broccoli, chopped bacon, minced garlic, ranch dressing, and cheeses. Stir until everything is well coated.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
- For a crispy topping, sprinkle the remaining cheese over the casserole during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
