  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Add the ground beef to the pan, browning it until fully cooked.
  4. Drain any excess fat.
Cooking
  1. Stir in the diced tomatoes and simmer for a few minutes.
  2. Add the cooked pasta and Greek yogurt or cottage cheese to the beef mixture, stirring until well combined.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil or parsley if desired.

Notes
