Ingredients
  

Main Protein
  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6 oz each) Ensure chicken is at room temperature for even cooking.
Seasoning/Spice Blend
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Sprinkle over the chicken before cooking.
Liquids/Dairy
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Keep cold until ready to add to the pan.
  • 1 cup Chicken broth Used for deglazing.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Add to the cream sauce for flavor.
Aromatics & Vegetables
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Add towards the end of cooking to avoid burning.
Optional Finishing Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsley, chives, and thyme Chop just before serving for maximum flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Drizzle for a tangy finish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let marinate for 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Remove chicken and add minced garlic to the pan, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, scraping up any brown bits.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; let simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over, and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh herbs and lemon juice before serving.
