- Begin by boiling water in a large pot. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breast, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and no longer pink. Stir occasionally for even cooking.
Cooking
- Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the chicken. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet. Stir and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Reduce heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir until it’s well combined with the chicken and spices, allowing it to simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked penne pasta and grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Toss together for about 2 minutes until well coated in the creamy sauce.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
