Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat (lump or flaked)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons green onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish, optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the crescent roll package.
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the crab mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough starting from the wide end to the tip, pinching the ends to seal.
  6. Arrange the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice to the crab mixture. Customize by including your favorite herbs or spices, like dill or cayenne. Consider serving with a side of tartar sauce or cocktail sauce for dipping.
