  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Softened for easy mixing
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances flavor
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Can substitute with other fresh herbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped Add other herbs for variation if desired
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed is best
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For added color and flavor

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, chives, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and generously spread the cowboy butter mixture over the top of each breast.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  2. Serve hot, garnished with additional herbs if desired.

Notes

Add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving for an extra flavor boost. Customize by swapping herbs like thyme or rosemary for a different taste. Serve with homemade garlic bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
